Reflections on the importance of improving the implementation of the decisions of the un human rights committee on migrants

The presentation focuses on the importance of improving human rights, based on a real case of a client, Ms. Nell Toussaint, whom I began representing in 2011 after she was denied access to an existing Canadian program that provided healthcare to immigrants, even though she was seriously ill and at risk of irreversible negative health consequences and even death. His immigration status in Canada at the time was irregular.
